We're always happy to have heirloom guitars like this 1946 Martin 000-21 in inventory! We acquired it from the son of the second owner, who'd owned the guitar since the late 1940's and played the living daylights out of it (as evidenced by the wear you see on the top). It's been well loved, and remains in excellent condition. When it came to us, it appeared no work had ever been done it. We had luthier Glen Nichols (Retrograde Guitars) reset the neck and refret it (the original frets were toast); and now it's playing like new whilst showing all it's got to give in the tone department. As with most Sitka topped, tapered braced Martins of the period, this instrument has the warmth, punch and woodiness that keeps us coming back to vintage guitars. With its Brazilian Rosewood body, this 000-21 offers versatility, collectibility and tone that'd make a purist envious -- all at nice savings from a slightly more adorned style-28 guitar. With vintage hard case.

  • Brazilian Rosewood back & sides
  • Sitka Spruce top
  • 1 11/16" nut width
  • 24.9" Scale
  • Neck reset and refret by Glen Nichols
  • All original structure
