Used 2001 Martin 000-28EC serial number 808954.

This guitar is in near mint condition showing limited playing time.

This “EC” has had an aftermarket B-Band pickup professionally installed.

Designed in collaboration with Eric Clapton, the 000-28EC Eric Clapton Signature Guitar utilizes premium East Indian rosewood for the back and sides and bookmatched select quartersawn Sitka spruce for the top.
The smaller 000 body size and short 24-9/10" scale help produce nicely balanced and delicate tone. The rosette and soundboard are inlaid with herringbone wood marquetry, and the body is bound with grained ivoroid.

The ebony fingerboard features a long diamonds-and-squares pattern in abalone pearl. Eric's signature is inlaid in mother-of-pearl between the 19th and 20th frets. Additional appointments include a hand-beveled tortoise pickguard and nickel-plated open-geared machines equipped with unique butterbean knobs.

Each Martin Eric Clapton Signature Guitar bears an interior label, individually numbered in sequence.
