A collaboration between Eric Clapton, C.F. Martin Guitars, and Guitar Center, one of the world's largest guitar stores, has resulted in the arrival of this limited edition model.
This model was specially presented at the Crossroads Guitar Festival, a charity concert hosted by Clapton.
The body is made of 'Madagascar Rosewood,' a wood that has a calm and serene appearance, and is handmade in Martin's Custom Shop, which consists of only a limited number of highly skilled craftsmen.
The head is decorated with an inlay showing 'Crossroads', and a pearl is used in the center of the mark to further boost the special feeling.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Eric Clapton and Martin CEO Chris Martin, and the label inside the soundhole is signed by both of them.
When this model first came out, we heard that it sold out very quickly. There are some minor buckle scratches and minor scuffs, but it is in beautiful condition just as it was back then.
The vintage-like colorful sound is also excellent.
