Here's a an ultra rare1947 Martin 000-28G in Natural finish. Besides its rarity, the guitar has incredible provenance! 1 of 17 ever made, with 4 of them being commissioned/ordered by Clarke Russell, an 8th grade music teacher in Toronto. The interior label reads "specially made for Clarke Russell," and is signed by C.F. Martin III! Two future owners of the guitar, including the person who purchased the guitar from Clarke, have their names on the insides as well. Fan braced, Sitka spruce top, with beautiful Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The guitar has two professionally repaired top cracks, one small crack repair on the back, while the rest is solid. The neck has been professionally re-set, and plays like an absolute dream! Easy playing action from top to bottom. It's good to go for the haul. Tonally the guitar is full, clear, and responsive to touch. It can be loud and projecting, or soft and delicate. Very special guitar here. Bonus: rare original Harp Tone case included!
