This guitar is the second short scale 000-45 made in 1934, the transitional year from the OM scale to 24.9. It was previously owned by Bob Wills , then Mike Longworth and was featured in the C.F. Martin museum. It was subsequently sold and is now offered. The guitar is a fine example and is original with some minor restoration. David Musselwhite performed a neck set , repaired a pick guard crack and restored the tuners to original. The back stamp on the headstock was re stamped at the factory. As with all style 45 Martins, the guitar is inlaid with pearl on all body borders, has the finest quartersawn Brazilian rosewood and the vertical C.F. Martin logo in the peghead.
