1930s Martin 1-T tenor ukulele

Hard to put a fine point on ukes from this era, but by the tuner hardware this uke falls in the 1927-1942 range...so we'll call it 30s. The Martin 1-T is the second largest size in the uke family, having a lower bout width of 9" and a 17" scale. This example has been around the block once or twice and while it hasn't suffered significantly it does have two spots of finish loss on the back along with a hairline back crack of 3 1/2" in length and a side crack/seam repair where it appears to have taken a minor impact. The back and side cracks have been repaired and the area is solid, but there is a small amount of missing mahogany where the side impact occurred. Structurally and cosmetically the uke is in great shape, overall it shows less wear than you or I will when we are 90 years old. Playability is excellent, the action is easy and there's plenty of saddle showing. All original. Comes with a modern foam shell/nylon cover hard case. $800
