The Martin 5-16 is a super rare and hard to find guitar as only 127 of these were ever made. These were originally produced to be a student guitar but still maintains to be a professional grade instrument perfect for travel, recording, and playing live.
This guitar shows a few signs of normal wear from over the years. There's some scratching and scuffs in the area where the pickguard would be and a couple of small dents on the front of the guitar. There's also some light scratching on the back of the body and the sides of the body also show some scuffs, scratches, and dents. There also appears to be very slight checking on the front of the body. The frets are used but still play great. Overall, this guitar has been well maintained and is in nice shape for being a 60 year-old guitar.
This guitar is all original.
