Everyone seems to be looking for small-bodied, short scale and/or 12 fret acoustics these days and this guitar has all of those qualities. Offered is this spectacular 00 12-fret from the Martin Custom Shop and built specifically for Chuck Levin's 60th Anniversary in 2018.

This lovely little acoustic has a "High Altitude Swiss Spruce" top with a bit of "bear claw" figuring. It has scalloped Sitka 1/4" bracing. The back and sides are made from a fabulous set of Cocobolo Rosewood. It has a 45-style Abalone rosette, herringbone top purfling, antique white Boltaron binding and a zipper style back strip. The short scale Mahogany neck has a modified low profile neck shape with the PA taper. The Ebony fretboard has a 16" radius, diamond and squares inlays and a 1-3/4" bone nut. It has an Ebony belly bridge with 2-5/32" string spacing at the saddle. It has a slotted headstock with a Cocobolo overlay and gold Grover side mount tuners. The guitar has a total weight of just 4 pounds, 4 ounces. This guitar has it all!

As great as this guitar's specs are, it plays and sounds even better! Just check out the brief sound sample included below; this guitar sounds spectacular, with a nice balanced voice and that lovely tone that Martin guitars are known for. It plays superbly with 12th fret string heights of 6/64" on the low E side and 4/64" on the high E side.

To top it all off, this guitar remains in near new condition with no flaws of any significance. The frets are spotless too. It comes in it's original Geib style case, also in near mint condition.

This is easily one of the nicest Martins we have had in stock in quite a while. Get yourself or someone you love an early holiday present with this lovely little Martin 00. This guitar is sure to please!
