Description

Here's a 1972 Martin D-12-41 in Natural finish. Ultra rare guitar, that's 100% original. We've never seen another one!! It's rare enough to find a D-12-45....but a 41?!? Unicorn of a guitar. And besides its rarity, the guitar plays and sounds fantastic! With the exception of a professionally repaired crack near the outer edge of the pickguard, the rest of the guitar is break/crack/repair free....and clean! The repair is great. Slope shoulder dreadnaught, 12 frets to the body, with a Spruce top, beautiful Indian Rosewood back & sides, bound body and fingerboard, with abalone inlay around the soundhole, top of the body, and fingerboard inlays. Stunning! The neck feels and plays great! Easy playing action, with room still in the saddle. Frets are clean. Tonally it sounds amazing! Balanced, full, with shimmery top end chime. Wonderful note separation and clarity. Phenomenal collector grade piece, that's beyond inspiring to play. Clean OHSC included!
