Description

SALE PRICE. From my personal collection... A completely ORIGINAL FINISH pre war Martin dreadnought. Guitar Aficianado estimated nearly three years ago that only around 1,800 D-18s were made in the pre war era. Of those made around half have been destroyed in the intervening 75-80 years. Among the half that do survive, half of those have been refinished. This one is one of the very rare pre war dreadnoughts that retains a completely original finish. This guitar has more sustain than any D-18 I've ever owned or played... the reason it has been in my personal collection for quite some time. It also has power, note separation, volume, and a great deal of sweet midrange. It does, as is obvious in the photos, have a repaired head stock crack. Tuners have been replaced and there is some capo scarring. Priced as such and ready and able to move into your arsenal of tone. 10000 dollars.
