This consignment 1943 Martin D-18 (85241) comes to the shop speaking with a very strong and authoritative voice. A great candidate for Bluegrass playing or use in a group where a strong musical voice is required. No body cracks, Two glued top cracks below the bridge, Replacement Waverly tuners, Replacement Fingerboard with snail shell dots, Replacement bridge, Replacement pin set. The large, even voice is characteristic for a good many of these 1943 D-18s. This guitar is one of only 425 D-18s made in 1943. With the original hardshell case that has broken hinges. We can supply a good serviceable case from a variety of new cases in the shop.
