This is one of the best playing & sounding D-18's we have ever had from any year in both condition & tone, it has an unusual wide grain spruce top, it has a great feeling mahogany neck, its mahogany back & sides are really pretty, its tortoise'gard & bound body is simply gorgeous, it has an amazing amount of volume & tone that only comes from many War Time Martins, it's exceptionally clean & still has the smaller bridge plate & is the last of the tortoise bound D-18’s, 3 lbs.13 oz; includes a nice newer hard case.
