The Martin D-18 was redesigned back in 2012 and has since become our shop’s best selling Martin model. The guitar features a scalloped-braced Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, vintage D-18 stylings, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. The neck has a low oval carve, 1-3/4” nut width, and a string spread at the bridge of 1-3/16”.
This example was built in 2013 and is in nearly flawless condition. No repairs, cracks, or damage; barely any playwear or scratches either. It’s been set-up here at Folkway, as well. Its voice has had a chance to open up nicely, and the guitar has developed and matured over these few years. Plenty of warm bass, forward mids, and full trebles with just a slight tinge of brightness across the tonal spectrum.
With original hard shell case
