Description

Late 40s D-28s are a favorite among bluegrass, country, and many other pickers and strummers with heavy hands that require drive and sustain in their instrument. This one has an all original finish and just a single repaired crack and a single changed part, a bridge. Both issues were taken care of previously by Gruhn's. This is a great sounding and playing example of a nearly seven decade old D-28, one of the flag ships of the Martin fleet. Join Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Dan Tyminski, and many others in utilizing a late 40s Martin dreadnought. This guitar is every bit enough for any live performance or studio session without breaking the bank. 11,000 dollars.
