1955 Martin D-28 Natural w/ Martin Hardshell Case
Vintage 1955 Martin D-28 nice and clean and original. The real deal.
Guitar plays and sounds remarkably well with a classic vintage D-28 warmth and evenness.
Neck angle is perfect and it plays with a good low action without buzz or issues. Notes are true all the way up and down. Original waffle back tuners keep the guitar well in tune.
At some point in the life of the guitar the guitar was sent to Martin and the bridge and bridgeplate were replaced along with the pickguard. Also the neck was reset - all work done at the Martin factory.
Guitar features beautiful Brazillian Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top, tortoise pattern pickguard, white outer layer of binding, unbound ebony fingerboard, dot inlays, and CF Martin & Co peghead logo.
A wonderful vintage 1955 Martin D-28 with tone to die for. An incredible recording guitar with super responsive bass, shimmering highs and very present mids.
Guitar in generally excellent condition, there is some wear to the back of the neck as pictured.
Comes with a 1980s Martin Deluxe Hardshell Case, as pictured.

We use UPS ground for shipping. We can work out overnight shipping on a case by case basis. Buyer pays all shipping charges.
All Sales Final. The only exception is internet sales. Please make sure you get an in-hand description for guitars purchased via the internet. 24 hour approval period on internet sales. After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
