Summary: This vintage Martin is in great shape with just a bit of pick-wear through the lacquer on the top and some finish checking. It has an under-saddle pickup installed and the action is set comfortable for flatpicking, strumming or fingerpicking. Our guitar tech has just restrung this guitar with a new set of 12s and made a new bone nut for it, it sound and plays wonderfully. It is getting a lot of attention and turning a lot of heads here in our shop! It ships in an aftermarket hardshell case, fully packed, padded and insured!

Body: This fabulous Martin has a dreadnaught body shape with a solid spruce top, rosewood sides, 2 piece rosewood back with multi laminate back stripe, b/c/b cream binding on top and 2 ply cream/black binding on back with single ply black pickguard.

Neck: The mahogany neck has a classic soft V profile, not too thin and not too thick. New professionally made bone nut, unbound ebony fingerboard, pearl dots, classic Martin volute and smooth Grover Roto-Matic tuning machines. Scale length- 25 ½” Nut width- 1 11/16”

Pickups/Hardware: It has an under-saddle pickup, battery pack pouch inside by the neck block has an ebony bridge, ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, Grover tuning machines and black pickguard.

Cosmetics: This Martin has some typical playwear- wear through the lacquer around the soundhole, finish checking on the top, minor dents and dings, some fretwear mostly on the first 3 frets under the b and e string and there are some chips and dings around the headstock. There is a very small crack in the edge of the soundhole by the end of the fingerboard. The crack is only about 1/16” of an inch long and ends right at the first layer of the rosette. There is also an extra piece of rosewood glued to the bottom of the bridge plate.

Playability: Our in-house luthier has inspected and restrung this Martin with a new set of 12s as well as fit a new bone nut. The neck is straight and it sounds and plays great. There is a bit of fretwear under the b and e string but it does not affect the playability.

Modifications: New bone nut, under-saddle pickup and a patch of rosewood has been glued to the underside of the bridge plate (see photos).
