Here’s a great chance to pick up a brand new Martin D-35 at a serious discount. Martin’s 2018 guitars are on the way, and we’re making space! This guitar is reduced in price by C$420!
Introduced in 1966, the D-35 quickly became one of the company’s best selling models, and remains that way to today. Over the years very little has changed in the design of the model; as compared to a 1970’s D-35, today’s model features a modernized headstock logo, an adjustable truss rod, smaller maple bridgeplate, and a self-adhesive pickguard. What’s not changed, and the key ingredient to the D-35’s signature warm and bassy voice, is the guitar’s bracing. Martin used spruce braces that measure ¼” wide on this model – that’s a 16th of an inch narrower than the top braces of a D-28 or D-18, and that makes a big difference in tone.
Sitka Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, white bindings with multi-ply purflings on all body edges. Bound ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, bone nut and saddle, Grover tuning machines. Modern low-profile neck carve, 1-11/16” nut width, 25.4” scale.
With Martin 640 Molded hardshell case.
