Summary: One of a very limited run of D-35s produced by Martin to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the model, this guitar features a rare Brazilian rosewood back center wedge and headstock veneer and bears an interior label personally signed by C. F. Martin IV. This is a beautiful and highly collectable instrument.

Body: Dreadnought 14-fret body style. Solid Madagascar rosewood sides and back wings. Brazilian rosewood back center wedge. FSC certified European spruce top with ¼” high performance non-scalloped X-bracing. Grained ivoroid binding. Style 28 rosette. Gloss finish with aging toner on top.

Neck: Solid mahogany. Modified low oval neck shape with high performance taper. Dovetail neck joint. Ivoroid bound ebony fretboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. 25.4" scale length. 1 3/4'' nut width. Square tapered headstock with Brazilian rosewood headplate. Satin finish.

Pickups/Hardware: Ebony belly bridge with compensated bone saddle. Bone nut. Chrome Grover tuners.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in very good condition with the exception of a small superficial chip on the headstock plate. The finish is in great shape with very little sign of playwear and the structural condition of the guitar is excellent. It does not have an endpin.

Playability: This guitar plays very smoothly, with low action and no buzzing or dead spots. Frets are nice and full. The sound is the big, responsive tone we expect from a classic Martin.

Weight: 5 lbs, 1 0z.

Case: Original hard shell.
