1996 Martin D-40 FW Natural
Here's a 1996 Martin D-40 FW in Natural finish. This was a limited edition run, with the being #96 of 150 made. The FW stands for Figured Walnut, and is just over the top beautiful! The guitar is 100%....and mint. This came to us from the original owner, who purchased it brand new from Martin in 1996, and tucked it away in its case. He also didn't play the guitar....literally. The plastic is still on the pick guard!! The guitar has stock D-40 appointments, with the figured walnut being unique to it. Playability is a dream, and it's as easy playing neck as it gets! Tonally big & warm. Wonderful balance as well. All the original paperwork is included, as well as the original hard shell case!
Before shipping, all guitars & basses receive a fresh, deep clean, along with a pro setup to your spec's! We are an appointment only store. All instruments are handled by SS Vintage employees only.
