Martin / 1999 D-41

D-41 was born in 1969.
It is a model that is positioned higher than the D-28, and is popular among professionals for its excellent sound balance and gorgeous visuals, while still having the dignity of a 40th generation model.

The one introduced here was made in 1999.
This model has hexagon inlay on the first fret as well as Style-45, which gives it a more luxurious impression than the usual Style-41.

The scalloped X-bracing is a big attraction, with a clear and gorgeous sound that responds well to even the lightest of touches.
The bass is deep yet moderately tight, and the sparkling treble is pleasantly resonant, as is typical of Martin's high-end models.

The sound of the D-41 is less violent than that of the D-45, giving the impression of a cohesive sound, but this one has the light response of an adjustable rod and a bright, bouncy, and moderately violent sound. The fullness of the scalloped bracing can certainly be felt in this good guitar.

[Playing Condition]
Neck and wood condition has been inspected and adjusted by a professional acoustic guitar craftsman, and all parts are in good condition.
The guitar was refretted and the fingerboard was repaired after it arrived at our store.
The neck has been straightened and adjusted with no chatter or clogging, and the strings are set at a comfortable playing height of 2.5mm on the 6th string side and 2mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret.
The saddle protrusion is approximately 2.5mm-2mm.

This product has been actively adjusted for comfortable playability by Advance Guitars' dedicated craftsmen who repair/adjust approximately 2,000 instruments per year.
