Description

Style-45, produced only in the best quality of the year, no matter which year.

Martin / 1980 D-45

This is a 1980 D-45 that we have just received. The body top is made of Sitka spruce, the side backs are Indian rosewood, and the fingerboard/bridge is ebony.
Even at a glance, you can feel that higher quality woods are used compared to the standard models of the time.
1980 was also the year when the pegs were changed from Grover to Schaller. This model is equipped with Schaller pegs with the original Martin logo.
The pickguard has been replaced.

Of course, the sound is of the highest quality.
The shiny and shimmering high frequency that occurs at the moment of the rise of the sound at the moment of one stroke.
The total sound you feel from the abundant overtones expands as if a spatial effector were applied, even when the sound is raw, and the entire space around you is filled with the sound of the D-45.
When the sound is this expansive, the low frequency range is usually blurred, but this particular model does not give off that feeling at all, nor is it a hard sound.
This is a sound that can only be experienced with a "Martin D-45.

As for the exterior, there are overspray marks around the sound hole (1st string side) and on the side of the fingerboard on the 6th string side of the body top, and there are glue pouring marks on the center joint of the body top.

The neck has been reset and the neck grip has been oversprayed. The neck has been straight since it arrived at our store, and the frets, nut, and saddle have been replaced.
You can rest assured that this piece has been carefully maintained and used.

The condition of the neck and wood has been inspected and adjusted by a professional acoustic guitar craftsman after it arrived at our store, and all parts are in excellent condition.
The neck has been straightened and adjusted with no chattering or clogging, and the string height at the 12th fret is optimally set at 2.3mm on the 6th string side and 2.1mm on the 1st string side.
The saddle protrusion is approximately 2mm.

This is the one and only, irreplaceable [Martin D-45] acoustic guitar.
