Built in Mexico, this acoustic/electric guitar has a high pressure laminate pattern top, back and sides of koa for enhanced durability and classic Martin style, while playability enhancements on the richlite fingerboard bring excellent comfort and refined string spacing.
The PA-profile birch laminate neck is smooth to play thanks to the gently beveled comfort edge, while the modernized bridge contour keeps a smooth and comfortable playing experience. It also comes with a set of Martin E-1 electronics with volume, tone and phase controls, as well as a built-in tuner that lets you plug and play at any volume. With a signature size that projects, the Martin D-X1E Koa lends itself perfectly to any genre and every experience level!
