This is as close as you can get to a Prewar D-28 without spending a fortune! Here we have a 1990 Martin HD-28 BLE in its original Natural finish! Part of Martin’s “Guitar Of The Month Series” this number 81 out of only 100 ever made! BLE standing for “Brazilian Limited Edition,” it sports beautiful solid Brazilian Rosewood back and sides! Herringbone binding and rosette, Ebony fingerboard, bound headstock, notched diamond inlay and scalloped forward-shifted bracing. This guitar is an absolute dream to play and a real cannon! Overall in very good condition, and has been well loved over the last 27 years. Plenty of play wear, some finish checking, a couple finish chips as well as some dings and dents. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Neck angle is good, truss rod functions and is fully setup! Comes with its original hard shell case, but no paperwork.
