Here we have a gorgeous Martin HD-28 BLE, a Guitar-of-the-Month model from 1990. These are rare guitars and this limited edition model (#81 of 100) comes with Herringbone trim around the top and the rosette, slotted diamond fingerboard inlays, bound headstock, and lovely Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. It’s in very good to excellent condition minus a couple of small marks on the top and a few minor dings on the back of the neck opposite the fifth fret. Overall it presents as a very clean guitar.

Neck depth is .76 inches at the first fret and one full inch at the twelfth fret. Ebony fingerboard with slotted diamond inlays, 20 frets, and a 16 inch radius. Set up in-house with action at 5/64 inch on the low E and 4/64 inch on the high E. Ebony bridge and Tusq saddle. Tortoise-style pickguard.
This guitar checks all the boxes. It’s a limited edition of 100 (signed by Chris Martin IV), Herringbone trimmed, loaded with Ebony, beautifully grained Spruce top, and classic Brazilian Rosewood sides and back with a Herringbone backstripe.
