Price reduced! 1978 Martin HD-35 Herringbone $2,600. This elegant beauty has been kept in pristine condition. It was acquired in an estate sale in Lindale, TX from a sole owner that clearly showed his love for this guitar with a lifetime of care. Not just for bluegrass pickers, this flattop box sounds great with any genre you decide to play on it. It's clarity of tone and easy playability make it shine. It has exquisite Indian Rosewood sides and back with Martin's 3 panel backing, which makes this an absolutely stunning guitar! Not to mention the Herringbone top inlay and zigzag back purling, and the fretboard bound in white giving it a classy look. No need to lay into this guitar, it is astonishingly responsive. The scalloped bracing make the bass boom and the notes pop. There are no replacements or cracks or any issues that need to be repaired. It's in nearly mint condition.
