Description

This is a very rare and highly collectable Martin D-28 Marquis/Madagascar from 2009. Martin only made the D-28 Marquis with the Madagascar rosewood from 2007-2009. This is a verified 1 of only 2 made in Left Handed after speaking with fellow lefty Jason at the Martin factory on 12/12/16. This is a one-owner guitar that belongs to a long-time
client; the other D-28 Marquis Madagascar is from late 2007 and is registered to an owner in California.

The guitar is 100% original with OHSC and in EXC condition. There is the slightest fret wear only on the 1st 3 frets. There are some minor marks on the guitar, but it is in overall very clean condition.

The guitar is everything a Martin collector would want: one-owner, and with a plethora of paperwork and Martin literature, including Martin catalogs, brochures, and price list from 2009, warranty book, hang tags, etc. I can’t recall another guitar I’ve had in all the years I’ve been collecting that’s had this much documentation!

Check the spec sheet pic and the other pics of this blue-chip Martin D-28. If you are an avid Martin collector, this guitar deserves your very serious consideration!
