Description

1927 Martin O-18K in very good condition. A recent conversion by Tom from Hawaiian to Spanish style. Tom reset the neck, refretted the original fingerboard and replaced the bridge with a replica made by TJ Thompson to the exact specs. This guitar had a cracked bridge plate and non original bridge when we got it. The bridge plate was replaced as part of the restoration. This guitar has a wonderful full round neck profile, more commonly seen on guitars from 1929 but also seems to be present on the Hawaiian models. The tone is dry, woody and crisp, unrepeatable in a new instrument. Finish is original shellac French polish. Includes new hard shell case.
