(Serial No. 45334) Excellent condition. This is the guitar that all of the modern makers are trying to copy. Last year for banjo tuners and bar frets. 000 size body with mahogany back and sides, Adirondack spruce top, 1-3/4 inch nut with a V profile neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, long scale at 25.4 inches. All original hardware and finish. It has been played and shows some light playing wear, but overall a very clean guitar. No cracks. Does have some buckle scratches and a spot of wear on the treble side edge, probably from sitting on the knee. Neck has been reset, frets are fine, tuners are original and the action is low and comfortable. All work was done by luthier Dave Musslewhite. Very lightweight guitar with a beautiful open clear sound. It has an extremely complex tone with lots of volume, clear trebles, and a strong focused bass. It has a quick and delicate sound that responds equally well to fingerstyle or a flatpick. Comes with a Calton case and the original hardshell case.
