The back and sides are constructed from African sapele, which possesses a similar aesthetic and tone as mahogany and delivers that famous Martin tone. When you’re ready to plug in, the Martin OMC16GTE comes equipped with a Roland AP-1 onboard electronics system that features three model-specific “Composite Object Sound Modeling” (COSM) tone variations and includes programmable seven-band EQ, anti-feedback control, digital chromatic tuner, digital reverb and an LCD display. The result is a beautiful natural acoustic tone plugged or unplugged.
