1930s Martin style 2 soprano ukulele w/chipboard case
Though this 30s style 2 has had a few repairs in the past it retains its handsome look. The uke is in good structural condition and plays well with comfortable action. It has good projection and bright/lively tone, as you would expect from a nearly century old Martin uke. The tuners have been replaced at some point in the past. In addition, it appears that five very fine hairline cracks have been repaired...three in the top (between the bridge and the tail block) and two on the back. These repairs are tight, flat and stable. Finally, on the upper bout of the treble side a small patch was made to repair side damage (measures 3/8" by 1") along with finish touch up in the area of the patch. The side repair is solid if not cosmetically perfect. The uke comes with a later era chip board case. Ships to US only, no international shipping offered. NYS residents pay 8% sales tax. I generally ship by UPS and will ship an item within 48 hours (usually the next day) of having received or cleared payment. Exact shipping costs will be added to the total for the buyer once the buyer has provided a shipping address. I insure everything for fulll purchase price.
Items are sold with a 48 hour approval period unless clearly marked "AS IS" in the listing. AS IS items are not returnable. If an item is going to be returned it is at the buyer's expense and the item must be shipped within 24 hours of the buyer notifying Kovacik Guitars of intent to return. Any returned items must be shipped in the original packaging and MUST be fully insured when returned. Once an item is returned to Kovacik Guitars and judged to be in the same condition as when originally sold a full refund will be issued.
