The mid-1960s was the end of the line for the all-mahogany Martin T-15 tiple. With its unusual four-course, ten-string setup, the tiple was an adjunct to Martin’s hugely successful ukulele line, from the early 1920s right up through the early 1970s. Those of you already familiar with Martin's tiples know that they are played much like a uke, with the ever-popular “My dog has fleas” tuning, and using the same chord positions as a uke and the same fingering as a guitar. This Martin is in remarkable condition: not a crack anywhere nor a repair of any kind ever needed. A few tiny nicks and that’s about it. No fret wear, only tons of fun. Comes with a beautiful modern hard shell case and a spare set of strings. $1495 w/hsc
