Martin 000-28 Modern Deluxe Guitar
The 000-28 Modern Deluxe is a new take on Martin Vintage. This guitar is packed with custom features and modern technology that you have to see, feel, and hear for yourself. The vintage appointments include a Sitka spruce Vintage Tone System (VTS) top, a dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue construction that give it the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. The look is unlike anything in our production line to date with European flamed maple binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock. Some ultra-modern features include a titanium truss rod, Liquidmetal® bridge pins with red dots, and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate that boosts volume without adding weight. And we’ve included a new neck shape that is slightly asymmetrical for maximum hand comfort up and down the fretboard.This guitar is anything but standard.
VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM (VTS)

The new Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS) uses a unique recipe that is based on the historic torrefaction system. VTS acts much like a time machine in which Martin can target certain time periods and age the top/braces to that era. This focused method allows Martin’s craftsmen and craftswomen to recreate not only the pleasing visual aesthetics of a vintage guitar, but also reproduce the special tones previously reserved for vintage instruments.
Further, Martin Guitar’s Research and Development (R&D) team rediscovered a process used by our craftsmen and craftswomen in the early 1900s to final dress the lacquer on our instruments by hand. The end result is a warm glow appearance that is as enticing to the eye as it is to the touch. The Vintage Gloss finish leaves the guitar with a satin appearance, far from the appearance of a satin spray.

At Wild West Guitars we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may simply return it. At Wild West Guitars we give you a 48-hour approval period. Below are the guidelines associated with our return policy. Return arrangements for online orders must be made within 14 days of receipt, or 48 hours in the case of phone and in-person purchases. All refunds will be less shipping costs both ways and applicable credit card fees. You may use your refund for full store credit on another "In Stock" item. If you choose a refund there will be a 10% re-stocking fee. The returning item must have an RA number given to you by a Wild West Guitars representative. Any item being returned without an RA number or verbal approval over the phone will be refused. The returning item must be shipped back in the same manner which it was received. If there is any damage to the item due to insufficient packing the return will be refused and no refund will be issued. All returns must be insured for the full amount of the purchase price. We will not accept a return if the item has been modified in any way. Returns are not accepted on any layaway items. Layaways are final sales and will be treated as such. Exchange for credit on another "In Stock" item is acceptable. "In Stock" item is any item physically in the store and ready to ship. All Layaway and Custom Orders require a 20% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Layaways should not extend more than 30 days from first processed transaction unless a payment schedule has been approved.
