1920 Maurer 13 Inch Excellent, Hard, $3,435.00

This is one of the sweetest little guitars we've come across in a very long time. Unlike most Maurers of the 1920s, its back and sides are of mahogany, it has straight bracing, and its appointments are beautifully understated. With its 12-3/4" wide body, it is about the equivalent in size of an early 0-model Martin, and is as neat as can be. The tones are brilliant and fine, the action is delightful, and its intonation is, surprisingly, way beyond almost any instrument I've ever played from the period.
