The 1959 Les Paul has proven to be the most sought after electric guitar in history. It has been the choice of most legendary and influential electric guitar players. This guitar is built using 1950's materials and construction techniques in order to produce a vintage 1950's tone. The neck and body are 60 year old Honduras mahogany. The top is 60 year old highly figured hard maple. The fretboard is 100 year old Brazilian rosewood. Old fashion hide glue is used for construction. 1950's style nitrocellulose lacquer (without plasticizers) is used for the finish.

For this guitar, all materials, specs and construction techniques which contribute to the sound are identical to an original 1959 Les Paul Sunburst. The only real difference is that there is no plastic binding or trapezoid inlays and it is much more affordable.

Hardware includes: Grover tuners, Gibson ABR-1 bridge, reproduction vintage tailpiece, Humbucking pickups by MAX/Sheptone

Photo #3 shows a small scratch on the top. Scratch is barely visible. Photo #4 shows the top edge along the lower bout was buffed through. Also barely visible unless you look for it.

Consequently a discounted price of only $10,000.
