Summary: Behold one of the most beautiful instruments we have ever seen – this Melancon Master Artist has a serial # of 03-1294. This guitar is a set-neck mix between a tele & a les paul. It looks like it would weigh a ton but it is actually pretty light – only around 7.25 lbs. The wood features are intense & this guitar plays & sounds great. I called Melancon Guitars & they tell me that they only made 20 of these fine “Master Artist” guitars & the retail was $10,000! Get it while you can – I doubt you will see this guitar for sale very often.

Body: Solid body made out of “White Limba” with a master grade flame maple top. This guitar has a beautiful honey burst finish!

Neck: The neck is made of “White Limba” with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The nut width is 1.6875”, the neck radius is 10”. The neck curve is .875” at the 1st fret and .975” at the 12th fret. The scale length is 25.75”.

Pickups/Hardware: Melancon PAFN & PAFB pickups, 3-way switch, master volume knob, master tone knob with a push/pull for a coil tap. This guitar also has gold hardware.

Cosmetics: This instrument is in great condition – there are some small signs of wear & play but I’m being really picky if I’m pointing out anything that would cause concerns……there may be some slight signs of pick scratching and I did find a small amount of pitting above the neck pickup where the neck meets the body, but overall this guitar is in really good shape.

Playability: This is a fine playing instrument – the action is low & the guitar plays with no buzzing & no dead spots. The neck feels very comfortable & the fretboard is awesome.

Weight: 7 lbs, 4 oz.

Case: OK so normally I would just say this guitar included the original hard shell case or whatever but hold on for this case – this case is a G&G tooled leather case – this case is so awesome I had to include a few photos of it too….
