2005 Mesa Boogie Lone Star Special

Everything’s bigger in Texas! The Mesa Boogie Lone Star special is built after this motto. With two channels capable of putting out up to 30 watts this head and 2×12 cab is a great option for those looking for tons of volume with the flexibility of getting chimy cleans, classic overdrive as well as modern high gain. But if that is too much volume each channel has the ability to be cut in half for a more reasonable 15 watts each (or keep one at 30 and the other at 15!). You can even cut the channels alway down to 5 watts and again keep one at 15 or 30 watts. Don’t worry they’ve added plenty of knobs to help you dial in this beast of an amp. You have two independent gain sections, eq sections, presence control, master volumes, output levels and reverb settings! You can use the second channel as your “solo” channel and either leave it clean or use there built in drive. The drive also has a normal, thick and thicker setting. This is an earlier Lone Star built most likely in 2005. Comes stock with its cover. The head is all original, some did mark their preferred settings on the knobs. One of the speakers had been replaced in the 2×12 with a Celestion G12. For those who like a lot of options and need volume the Lone Star has got you covered!
