Description

Looking for a quality Strat-style guitar? If so, check out this beauty built by Michael Tuttle. Specs for this superb guitar include: a nicely figured and light Adler body with transparent blue lacquer finish and a total guitar weight of just 7 pounds, five ounces; a medium C-shaped Maple neck with depth measurements of .850" at the first fret increasing to .950" at the twelfth fret; a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with 12" radius, 6105 fret wire and a 1.72" bone nut; a Callaham tremolo bridge; locking Kluson vintage style tuners; and for electronics, Tuttle's own single coils with volume, tone, blend and a five-way switch. The pickups on this guitar sound particularly good to my ear and the playability is superb as with most everything Michael Tuttle builds. Based on the low serial number (and the comparatively low original price listed on the spec sheet) I am guessing this guitar was built in 2007 or 2008. Whenever it was built, this guitar is in excellent overall condition with just a few minor bumps, the worst of which are on the underside of the lower bout (see photo). The frets show very little wear. It comes with it's original G&G case in near mint condition, along with the trem arm, truss rod tool and spec card. For a custom built guitar with Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, I think you will agree that this is a super deal on a Super Strat! Very nice!
