Up for sale is a clean Milkman Creamer 1×12 combo amplifier in its original blonde tolex. The Creamer was designed as the perfect studio and gigging amplifier: perfectly voiced tones, power and portability. The Creamer is the ultimate in refinement and alternative to vintage amps. Everyone loves low power vintage amps, but sometimes you need a bit more power, reliability, and headroom on the gig. In the studio, the Creamer is virtually silent when idle. An adjustable cathode bias circuit lets you easily substitute 6L6 or 6V6 output tubes with no need to rebias. With 6V6 tubes, the Creamer puts out about 20 watts and has a sweet breakup. Put a pair of 6L6s in and you get more low end, subtler mids, and a touch more headroom. The tremolo circuit in the Creamer is harmonically rich, deep, and has a very useful range of speed. The Ceramic 12″ speaker is a transparent sounding speaker. Bright, lively, and very efficient. It’s got a great bottom end even at low volume. This speaker will not break up no matter how hard you push the amp. Like all Milkman amplifiers, the Creamer is hand wired onto a turret board with Mercury Magnetics transformers and Jupiter Capacitors standard. Sounds and functions great and is stage / studio ready.
