Description

We love an oddball, and this all-original 1966 Mosrite Baritone Bass in Blue Sparkle certainly fits the bill! From the “Bart Simpson” style tuners to the signature Mosrite vibrato and bright Sparkle finish, this one sure is a statement! Over the decades of combined experience here, none of us have seen another Mosrite quite like this one, and we’ve seen the word “Prototype” associated with this particular piece. It is essentially set up like a six-string bass. The Blue Sparkle finish is in good condition, with some light edge wear and patina. This bass is all original, with the only change being an added brass plate just below the tremolo arm to reinforce where the metal is slightly bending. It is attached to the underside trem arm just above the ball ends, so it is not mounted to the body in any way.

Overall Condition: 8.5, light patina, edgewear
