This player's guitar is ready to be your platform for personal expression!

Mosrite guitars are known for their distinctive shape, most popularly seen on the Ventures model. While the Joe Maphis model is similar in shape, it differs greatly in construction.

The back and sides of the guitar are made of walnut, to which a German-carved, solid spruce top is fitted. The guitar is semi hollow, allowing the top to move and add to the unique tone.

Someone has gotten their hands into this one for sure. There are extra holes in the pickguard, and the pots are replaced. The switch is original. The pickups were rewound by Ed Elliot in January of 2023. Ed has a long history with Mosrite, and as we understand it, he has machinery and parts from the original shop where he worked with Mosely on the original guitars.
There is a little ugly routing in the neck pickup position and the tuners are modern Grover replacements. The arm for the original tremolo is missing.

Since the guitar has been altered, I see someone doing some cool customization, likely resulting in the creation of a rock beast. We'd love to see where your creativity can go!

No case. Will be double boxed for shipping.
