Description

Here's a 1967 Mosrite Mark I in original rare Ink Blue finish. Serial number V5396. November 4 1965 date stamp in the neck pocket. The neck is from 1967, as it has a non-Ventures logo. So this is a super early (and rare) '67. You'd find these mis-matched body & necks on Mosrites from time to time, as they didn't originally sell well, and the bodies were stamped the day they were made (not shipped). So this one was lying around for a year. All electronics and wiring are original. There's a few chips in the finish: one at the neck pocket, two along the sides, and one on the back treble side horn....while the rest of the finish is in tact and in good shape! The guitar plays great, with its original low frets, and low action to match. The Moseley vibrato works great. The guitar sounds fantastic! In Mostrite fashion, both pickups are strong in output, and have a ton of range. It can handle surf, rockabilly, punk...you name it. We love Mosrites around here, and this one is as cool as it gets! HSC included...
