Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1966 Mosrite "The Ventures" model 12-string in its original Candy Apple Red finish. It has a good playing neck with good frets, but the end of the neck has a bit of a ramp to it causing fret buzz and a few dead frets when playing past the 12th fret. The ends of some of the last frets have been filed down very low. It's all original with the exception of the switch, some of the screws, and a fabricated nut for the truss rod adjustment. It even has its original hardshell case. There has been other pickups installed at one point in time leaving extra screw holes seen underneath the pickup rings. There are a couple hairline cracks around the neck joint, but they remain more of a cosmetic issue as the guitar itself remains structurally sound. It looks good with lots of nicks + dings, one bent tuning key, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear. All electronics work and sound great. All Illinois residents please add 8.75% sales tax. We are happy to ship internationally, and have CITES certificates available for rosewood exports.
For customers in the United States we accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express cards for payment, as well as bank wire transfers, Paypal, postal money orders, Western Union, or personal checks (we must wait about 2 weeks for the checks to clear before shipping the item). For international customers, we can accept Paypal, a bank wire transfer, or Western Union. If paying with a credit card please call us with your payment information at 618-201-5848 and we can usually ship the guitar out the same day.
Our guitars are usually packed the same business day that we receive payment. We take the utmost care when packing our guitars and basses to assure that they arrive safely. We detune all guitars so that there is no tension on the neck, then the guitar is packed inside the case so that it does not move during shipment. After the guitar is safely packaged inside the case we wrap the case with several layers of half-inch tall bubble wrap. After the guitar is wrapped it is placed into one of our custom-made double-walled cardboard boxes of the appropriate size. We then use packing peanuts or packing paper to fill any negative space in the box so that the guitar is secured with several inches of padding and does not move around. This way, even if the guitar is mishandled during shipment, it will arrive safe and sound. Our guitars are usually shipped the same business day that we receive payment. Most of our guitars are shipped UPS, and items are always fully insured. If you would like a guitar shipped with FedEx or USPS, please let us know and we can accommodate your needs. Because of insurance the price of shipping will vary, so please email us for an exact shipping quote. Shipping for most guitars will be around $50.
If you feel that we have misrepresented anything, please contact us within 48 hours, and ship the guitar back to us. After we receive the guitar and it is in the same condition as when it was sold, we will give you a full refund minus the shipping charges.
