A stunning addition to any serious bass player's collection, the fantastic MTD Super 534-24 5-string electric bass guitar is as awe-inspiring as it gets — complete with all of the functionality of a powerful bass and matched by the outstanding style and grace of masterful MTD-craftsmanship. Built in America, this bass features a hand-finished Cherry Burst satin finish with a set of black hardware and gold frets.
The MTD Super 534-24 is built from a wicked Avodire figured top and body, with an offset body shape and a matching headstock. The flat D-profile neck is made from maple, and it's home to an ebony fingerboard, perfect for a smooth and comfortable playability. The fingerboard offers slick and easy access to all twenty-four golden frets, complete with special Luminlay side dots that can be activated with a provided LED capability.
The pickups and active electronics are custom made by Bartolini, giving you a fat, wide and solid sound that will shake the ground before you. The controls are a master volume (push/pull a/p) and a pan pot, passive tone, a push/pull mid control and stacked treble/bass cut and boost, with a center click from neck to bridge — all with a three-way toggle switch. The revolutionary Buzz Fieten tuning system keeps your tuning stabilized perfectly.
