For this special incarnation of the Valentine signature model, Ernie Ball Music Man added a classic Vintage Sunburst finish over the guitar's beautifully-grained ash body. The gorgeous roasted figured maple neck is carved into a cozy C profile, and comes dressed in a satin finish for unbelievable playability – while the addition of crisp white neck binding provides a striking aesthetic touch. Maroon 5 fans will appreciate that the backplate of this version has been personally autographed by James Valentine himself, and even the hardshell case has a red Valentine logo plate.

The BFR Valentine is ready to cover all the sonic territory you need, thanks to a custom wound Music Man single-coil pickup with staggered pole pieces in the bridge position – and a custom Music Man humbucker in the neck position. Adding to this guitar's tonal flexibility, the electronics include a 3-way custom-wired lever pickup selector, and a Custom Music Man active preamp featuring a passive tone control with coil-tapping for custom split pickup configurations and a push/push volume control with built-in +20 dB gain boost for when you need some extra sonic horsepower.

Finished in chrome, this BFR Valentine comes fitted with only the finest hardware, which includes a set of precise Schaller locking tuners and a Music Man Modern hardtail bridge featuring vintage bent steel saddles.
