2007 Music Man Bongo Bass Stealth Black, Very Good, Original Hard
Offered for sale; 2007 Music Man Bongo bass serial number F18544. This Bongo is in very good condition, fully functional. There is one finish crack from the bridge to the back strap button and two finish cracks by lower left screw on neck plate. There are some “marks & nicks” about the body.
Designed by Music Man president Sterling Ball and the company's R&D department, the Bongo is a looker. BMW Designworks was largely responsible for the instrument's clean lines and stunning, unconventional good looks. Featuring a lightweight, resonant, basswood body with generous double cutaways, fast-playing maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and 24 wide, high-profile frets with a 34” scale length. Humbucking pickups with neodymium magnets, 18 volt active preamp with 3-band EQ, 5-bolt neck attachment, sculpted neck joint, adjustable truss rod - no component or string removal required, body cavity and aluminum control cover coated with graphite acrylic resin for superior shielding

This Bongo finished in Stealth Black has a nut width of 1 ¾” and weighs in at 8.8 lbs. This is an instrument with a very broad range of tonal capabilities and the same time it is very comfortable to play; versatile is somewhat of an understatement.
