Masterfully-built in America, the RS HSS model retains all of the familiar elements of the original Cutlass including an alder solidbody with an oversized 4 over 2 headstock, while adding unique appointments to the mix such as a roasted figured maple V-profile neck with a comfortable rosewood fingerboard on top.
The bridge pickup in the HSS is a custom wound Music Man ceramic humbucking with a vintage sound that compliments the dual Music Man custom wound single coils, yet has plenty of crunchy rhythms and biting lead tones. Utilizing the new wide spectrum Music Man Silent Circuit wiring, which reduces hum and retains true single coil sound, this guitar proves to be a jack-of-all-trades.
