Up for grabs is this 1980 Music Man Sabre in Black finish. The bass was originally a fretless, and has been converted to have frets! Top notch conversion. Rare to find a Sabre in black finish. Everything on the bass is in perfect working order. These pre-Ernie Ball Music Man's are so great, and this is yet another wonderful example. This one is an early 1980, as the neck & body both date to February '80. C00 serial number, with a 3-bolt neck. Smooth, fast playing neck, with easy playing action. The bass has a huge tonal pallet. 2 great sounding humbuckers, with a 2 band EQ, internal preamp, and brightness + phase in/out + pick up selector switches!! Swiss army knife of a bass here. OHSC!
