Description

Here's a pre-Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray bass from 1977. This is from an era when Leo Fender was in control. All original bass that's issue free. Tough to get more vibe than this one! The original olympic white finish has aged into yellow, and the checking on the body gives it a look that can't be matched by a modern relic job! This an early one, with a body date of March 2, 1977, and a B00 serial number. Icing on the cake is the playability and tone. Fast & smooth playing neck with low action all the way up. Really can't stress enough how great the bass plays! The humbucker pickup is warm, full, and articulate. This also has an early onboard active preamp, that's powered by a 9 volt. So much tone from a single pickup bass! HSC included..

Weight- 11.1lbs
Nut Width- 1.684"
