This Musicvox MI-5 guitar is in excellent condition showing virtually little to no playing wear. Finished in Seafoam Green and autographed by the late Johnny Winter.

Featuring a mahogany body with maple neck, a 25 ½” scale bound rosewood fingerboard, block pearl inlays, triple bound body and headstock, Kluson style chrome vintage tuners, chrome hardware, fully adjustable six saddle bridge, Musicvox special design chrome mini-humbucker pickups, volume and tone controls with a 3 position pickup selector switch. Finishing touch is the vintage pearloid 3 ply triangular pickguard.

Since its origins in 1997, the company is based out of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. All instruments are made in either Korea or China. Musicvox has been well known for vintage style and flamboyant guitars and basses. Musicvox instruments have been played by and are favorites of noted recording artists, performers, recording studios, professional musicians, and guitar collectors worldwide. Noted owners and players of Musicvox guitars and basses include Keith Urban, Allen Woody of the Allman Brothers and Gov't Mule, Mark Pirro of The Polyphonic Spree and Tripping Daisy, Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo, Matthew Sweet, Zane Carney (John Mayer), Tom Petersson of Cheap Trick, and Matt Mahaffey, famed producer and recording artist with the band sElf.

This made in China MI-5 is a really cool “kitschy” guitar; the autograph is a nice “something special” feature. Nice piece!

Original gigbag included.

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
*This is a specific item that is also being offered for sale in our brick & mortar location. It is possible that it has just been sold. Please ask if it is still available before purchasing.
*It is our policy to require a signature on delivery of all musical instruments. Please let us know if you prefer no signature required when ordering or we will automatically require a signature.
