1980 MXR Dyna Comp Compression Pedal Red
Here we have a very well-preserved 1980 MXR Dyna Comp pedal. To begin, it works very well. When you add the compression and open the Sensitivity, it sustains for days. The pedal is quiet, with no hums, pops or crackles. Not bad for a 42-year-old pedal!
This Dyna Comp has obviously been well taken care of- it does have a few light surface scratches, but the overall condition is excellent and the printing is still present and clear. As to the internals, the battery connector had previously been replaced and not in the best manner, so we professionally installed a new battery connector and now everything is clean and proper.
The pots date out to the 51st week of 1979 and the 9th week of 1980. The LN3080N IC chip is present, as is the inspection sticker. We have a piece of felt that insulates the metal back from the circuit board. Both knobs sport their rubber covers, making it easy to control the pedal with your feet if so desired.
This is a solid, vintage MXR pedal that will last you for years to come. All of our pedals come with a new battery so you don't have to go scrounging around looking for one after the pedal arrives.
